In 2007 Lisa moved to Ireland where she worked for RKD Architects in Cork. She met her husband in Ireland and together they rebuilt a country cottage with an environmentally friendly mandate.

Lisa was drawn to the Graduate School of Architecture at the Centre of Alternative Technology (CAT) in Wales to continue her architectural education. While at CAT Lisa was part of a student design-build team that was short-listed for the Architect's Journal Small Projects Award. In 2012 she completed the Professional Diploma in Architecture with Advanced Environmental and Energy Studies which is a UK Part 2 recognized accreditation. While studying at CAT Lisa confirmed her passion for high quality design and now back in her home province of Saskatchewan is working hard to promote environmentally, socially, and culturally sustainable architecture.
